After more than a decade of composing for film and TV, composer Thomas E Rouch has taken time out to record his first solo piano record. With a deft ear for simple yet haunting melodies, The Pathfinder has a sound that is both intimate and emotionally charged. Dancing between tense and melancholy arpeggios to spacious textural pieces that explore the space between the notes, this record tells a compelling and personal story.
